Marine ecosystem identification & mapping in the Asia-Pacific region (pdf 800kb)
This APEC report addresses ecosystem management and marine resources sustainability issues.In a collaborative project that took place under the auspices of the APEC Marine Resources Conversation Working Group (MRCWG), APEC Economies were provided with an accurate and up-to-date understanding of marine ecosystems and related issues that underpin economic development and trade facilitation in the region.
The challenge for APEC Economies is to sustain economic growth while safeguarding and restoring the natural systems that support prosperity.
