PNG capacity development showcase
In November 2008 the Papua New Guinea leg of the AusAID Capacity Development Showcase was held in Port Moresby and drew on expertise from AusAID's Capacity Development panel, with a specific focus on recent work on capacity development in Papua New Guinea.A substantial proportion of capacity building in PNG is delivered through technical assistance. The showcase was divided into two sessions:
- Session one: What is the research telling us about technical assistance and capacity development?
- Session two: Capacity development, subnational government and decentralisation
