Providing remedies: fact sheet
This fact sheet explains the remedies that can be provided for poor administration by Australian Government agencies, which will assist agencies to identify and provide an appropriate remedy for a person who has suffered disadvantage as a consequence of poor administrative practice.It mirrors the principles used by the Commonwealth Ombudsman in complaint investigation and in selecting the most appropriate remedy to address poor administration.
