Our responses to poverty 2008: World Vision Australia (pdf 3.4mb)
This annual publication, sharing case studies from the field, is one of a range of measures World Vision Australia has instituted to both improve and demonstrate the effectiveness of their work and be accountable.The report highlights that the alleviation of global poverty involves three inter-related processes: the transformation of communities in developing countries, the transformation of communities in developed countries, and the transformation of global systems and structures. World Vision Australia's approach to programming therefore integrates community development and relief programs, with advocacy and educational initiatives both in the field and in Australia.
